We have always been told to behave professionally to obtain more clients. But what i am trying to tell you this is exactly opposite of what you need in order to win more clients and sell your services.

Stop making a distinction between a professional life and a personal life. The personal life doesn't have to be different from the professional life.

You can be a very skilled person and an expert in your field but if you have bad relationship with people they may not want your services.

But even if you are an intermediate level skilled person but if you have a good relationship with people they will want to connect with you and more likely to buy services from you.

There is no better relationship than a good friendship. You don't need to be in a client - professional relationship. You just need to be a good friend. That is all you need.

Learn to establish a more personal relationship with people who can potentially buy your services. It means making friendship with them. And treating them as your friends rather than your clients.

Professionals do a good job due to fear that if they don't do a good job they will be out of job and not find new opportunities in future. They do good job to improve their career and increase their income.

But your friends do a good job for you because they love you and they find happiness in your success and they want to see you successful and happy.

The key to finding success in your career is to establish better relationship with people.

A good relationship is a relationship based on friendship, trust, faith. It is a kind of relationship where you don't need to bargain with people. They want to pay you more than what you asked for because they have received from you better than what they were asking for.

We say there is a scarcity of jobs in the market and abundance of people who are looking for jobs. It seems to indicate an oversupply of people looking for jobs.

But you may not know ... there is a scarcity of people who are trustworthy and reliable. And such people are difficult to hire and difficult to find and they usually have the power to choose their clients.

I have seen professionals who have so much demand for their services. That they can actually choose their clients.

You don't need to gain more skills in order to be more trustworthy and reliable. You just need to be a good friend. Someone who truly cares and want to help others !
